The role covers the full care of the animals, including feeding, grooming, monitoring welfare, cleaning and maintaining enclosures and equipment, working with the vet and nutritionist, keeping the required records and, as needed, assisting with animal transport, enrichment activities and visitor programmes.
Applicants must hold at least a post-secondary qualification and a category B driving licence. Candidates with experience caring for various animal species will be given preference. The role is a fixed-term one-year contract with possibility of extension, full time. We accept applications within 10 days of publication on the ZOO Ljubljana website.
