Tickets can be purchased at the ZOO Ljubljana ticket office or in our online shop. Single tickets, annual passes and family tickets are available.

The zoo is open every day of the year. Opening hours vary according to the season. In summer we are open longer than in winter.

More than 500 animals live at Ljubljana Zoo. You can find out a great deal about many of them even before your visit.

The zoo has a large playground where children can relax and play a little after viewing the animals.

Our restaurant offers a variety of dishes and drinks. Both hot and cold meals and desserts are available.

At the Ljubljana Zoo shop you can buy souvenirs, toys, books and other animal-themed products.

Vending machines are available at several locations around the zoo. They offer drinks and snacks.

Toilets are available at several locations around the zoo. All are equipped with toilets and washbasins.

A car park is available in front of the zoo entrance. Parking is chargeable. Parking spaces for disabled visitors are also available.

Charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the zoo car park. Charging is chargeable.

We accept payments by cash, credit and debit cards, and mobile payments. We also accept vouchers and tourist vouchers.

The zoo is adapted for people with reduced mobility. Accessible paths, lifts and adapted toilets are available.

You may bring your dog into the zoo, but it must be on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your pets.
