Read Before Your Zoo Visit

When visiting ZOO Ljubljana you must follow all currently applicable government measures. To make your walk among the animals as safe and pleasant as possible, please familiarise yourself with them in advance. Because zoo rules also apply to preventing infection of sensitive animal species, we ask all visitors to follow the instructions without exception and not to touch or feed the animals. The informative list of measures below will help.

Safety rules during the COVID-19 epidemic
In accordance with government regulations, during your visit to ZOO Ljubljana you must also:
- maintain an appropriate distance from others.
Please do not gather with other visitors who are not members of your family or household, and always keep an appropriate distance when watching the animals.
- wear a protective mask in all indoor areas (e.g. toilets) and where the required distance cannot be maintained.In periods of high visitor numbers, we recommend wearing a mask in all areas.
- Please follow the rules without exception: do not touch or feed the animals!
Because some animals can also contract the coronavirus, we ask that you also keep an appropriate distance from the animals and do not make contact with them or feed them.
- Please do not come to the zoo with any symptoms of acute cold or flu.
- Pay attention to hand and cough hygiene.
- Use the hand sanitiser dispensers installed around the zoo.
- Use your visit to the zoo for a walk and to observe the animals; please do not sit in groups and avoid gathering with other visitors near the enclosures.
- Please carefully follow all written notices and instructions from staff.
- Staff will ensure that spaces and surfaces where contact with visitors takes place are disinfected.
