Magical Adventures
Every year the witches put a spell on our zoo and take children and adults on a tour of its enchanted corners. They introduce you to their animal helpers and show you a magic trick or two. If prejudice and fears of certain animals have you in their clutches, a special ritual will help set you free.
Magical Adventures
From 25 to 31 October 2025, between 14:00 and 17:00
The terribly friendly witches of ZOO Ljubljana invite you to a special adventure.
We will marvel at unusual sounds and ask whether they are natural. We’ll solve very special animal riddles, get to know insects and dispel any prejudices about them. We’ll conjure a little light that glows constantly and make ourselves a lantern. Just in case we get scared, we’ll arm ourselves with the witches’ favourite animals — a spider or a bat.
The workshops are free for visitors — you only pay admission.

Birthday Celebration
You can celebrate a birthday at ZOO Ljubljana. During the celebration we experience smaller domesticated animals, with a focus on insects. We also visit the more charismatic larger animals in their enclosures and learn many interesting things about them. The celebrations are educational and fun, suitable for children and adults alike. We provide food, drink and an educational and entertaining programme.
